Last up north and more

We spent the weekend up north. The last trip up this season. Didn't this summer go by fast? We helped take out some of the dock and the jet ski. We had a decent day on Friday, but Saturday it rained and rained and rained... Bella came down with some sort of cold and eye thingie right before we left home (we thought pink eye at first but it never turned into that). She was fine for the weekend but I had to scramble with getting some drops prescribed for her before our trip up.

Bella and Lucy are getting along better lately. Bella complains when Lucy has to go down for a nap because she wants to play with her! Lucy still doesn't like all of Bella's ideas of play, but it is getting better. Here is one of their wrestling sessions. They were both having so much fun!

The weekend before last we had lunch at Sonny's new restaurant. Check it out if you're near 894 & 60th in Milw! Its called Crunch Time and they have excellent subs/sandwiches. I got treated to an iced-latte and some smoothie along with my sub. yum.

And some breaking news... Bella can ride her bike (w/training wheels) around the block! A big accomplishment for the girl who loves her stroller! Lucy is starting to learn body parts like nose & ears. She's great at pointing, but we're still waiting to hear a few more words out of her though!
