Fests

It is the height of festival season and we are getting our fill! The Circus Parade Festival was last weekend and this week was the Waukesha County Fair. I really wanted to go to Festa Italiana to get my super yummy tiramisu, but I think time ran out on us.

In between all the fests, we decided to check out some open houses in neighborhoods that we would like to move to in the next year or two. We thought it would be nice to move before Bella starts kindergarten. In talking to one realtor, we learned of something that made us consider moving sooner - the first time home-buyer stimulus. First time home buyers get an $8,000 credit towards a house, but must close by November 30. Our house lands in the first time home buyer range... so this may make it easier to sell if we do it now. I had one realtor out last week and another one is coming tomorrow. I want several opinions since we had planned to stay here another year or so, fixing up little odds and ends. The realtor last week said all these little cosmetic changes aren't necessary. Its hard to know what to believe. Oh what to do.
