birthday events

This past weekend was an eating-out weekend for Carlo since it is his birthday today. He loves eating out so we did two dinners, a breakfast and a lunch. I'm stuffed... One dinner we went to a great Italian place, Amici's, minus the girls and with Beth & Jeff so that was a treat.

Bella and I made Daddy a "cake" (rice krispie treats) and a card today.

Other breaking news.... Bella wore underpants today! She wanted to wear them. She sits on the potty but still hasn't 'gone' on it yet. She went in her underwear 3 times today though. Still, I think it is a pretty big step for the long road of potty training ahead!

No more snow here, it was over 60 degrees today! Crazy, but I'm sure there is more in store for us in the coming days. We managed to have some fun with it while it was here. Bella's first snowman and sisters playing below :)
